Savannah Rachelle Lake
Born May 23rd at 2:12 am
4lb 6oz 17 inch long

Sunday May 22 Wesley and I decided to go to Payson for Sunday dinner. It turned out to be a good thing that we were down there. At 7:30pm Nicole called and said that she thought her water broke and that she was heading to the hospital. Nicole to got Payson hospital and she was already dilated to a 3 and that she so moving really fast and they transported her to Utah Valley Hospital because they had a NICU there that would be able to help the baby more. Wesley and I headed up to Provo because Cody didn't want to drive his car up and so he asked Wesley and I to head up there with them. Nicole was only in labor for eight hours. The Keelser gang was all there to support them. I didn't think that we all would be there to support her but I am really glad that we were able to be there because it was pretty scary for us all because Savannah was going to be six weeks early.

The whole gang. Picture of us all of us right before Nicole was taken into the O. R.

Day Five and Savannah is under the lights.

Day Six Savannah is off of the light and Nicole is able to so hold her more and start to breast feed her.

We were really glad that we were able to be there and support Nicole and Cody. Baby Savannah was able to go home on June 20th. We was in the hospital less than a months. She is doing really good now. We are so excited to have her in our family now. We can't wait to see her next.

Crafts Projects

Stuffed Animals

Here are many of my craft projects I have been working on. The first project I did was some stuffed animals for friends and families baby showers. These are the ones I did for little boys. I did some for girls but changed the material.

New Bag

My mom had a bag just like this and she told me that if I got the material she would make me one too. I found some extra material and was able to make two bags. I made one bag for my mother-in-law and one for myself. The ones I made are a little different than the one my mom made. I was able to do most of the bags one my own, but had my mom help me with the last steps. They were a lot of fun to make.

Car Seat Covers

I made a car seat cover for my sister-in-law Nicole. I wasn't sure if she was going to like it but she really liked it. I made it two sided, it was pretty easy to make and was fun to make it for her. Good thing that we had Nicole's shower so early because baby Savannah decided she wanted to come out early. Stay tuned for more on Savannah.

Baby wipes case that I covered for Nicole also.

Employee Appreciation Week

This year at work for employee appreciation week they did a western theme. This is our decorations that we put up to get in the spirit of employee appreciation week. I just thought to share a little of what is going on at work.

Andrea and I dressed up for the costume contest we had Friday afternoon during lunch. It was a lot fun to dress up and have a little fun at work.
