Aug. 15th: Jordan Baptism

Jordan decided to get baptized here in Salt Lake while she was here for Megan's wedding. It was a really good baptism and it really touched our life and helped us reflect on our own baptisms. Jenny had video taped most of us personally to tell what we remembered about our own baptismal day. It was really cool to be able to hear every one's story. I was so proud of Jordan she called me and asked me to say the closing pray. It was so cool that she actually asked everyone personally that took part in her baptism. I thought it was so cool that she asked Matt to baptize and asked her dad (Neal) to do the confirmation.

After the baptism we had some cake and juice as a little treat it was nice to just nice get to talk with family after the baptism.

24th of July

Twenty fourth of July we got up early and rode our bikes to the Pioneer Day Parade. Laura and Matt had saved us some good seats. We had a lot people there. Mom, Dad, Megan, Jason, Laura, Matt and some of Matt's family and friends. After the parade we rode our bikes to Scaddy's (Our favorite burger place) and met my parents and Megan and Jason for lunch. It was a lot of fun that we were able to ride our bikes and didn't have to fight traffic, we got in and out of the parade really quick.

Later that night we met up with Wesley's family and we went up Provo canyon and went for a small hike. It was a long drive but it was fun to be able to spend time with family.

4th of July

Fourth of July weekend we went down the Nicole and Cody's house. We all went "shooting," there was 9 of us there. We only got about five bunnies er targets. We think that since it was so windy out everything was hiding.

Saturday we had a big bbq with the whole family. We all got to play with Nicole's new horse. Her colt was so friendly and acted like a new puppy wanting to play with every one.

Wedding #3 Kesley and Aaron

June 24th we went to Kesley and Aaron's wedding. They were married at Jordan River Temple and it was so beautiful and really touching to be able to be there with them and with all of our family.

Family BBQ

June 28th my parents had a big family BBQ with everyone that was in town. Jenny and her family were in town for a week and wanted to meet all the new in-laws to be, even though Megan was out of town Jason was a good sport and came and meet all the family. Matt was also able to meet Jenny and Neal. We all had a lot fun. We had Aunt Kaye and Uncle Dan come with their family. All the little kids had a lot fun playing on the play ground and playing in the water. We all had a lot of fun just being able to see and talk with everyone.

The surprise of our Anniversary

The final surprise of our Anniversary.

So about midnight Wesley got a call from Timothy (his brother) telling him a friend posted something on facebook about the transformer's vehicle's being in Payson. Wesley was curious, but more than skeptical about it being true. Timothy kept insisting though. When I heard part of the conversation she got super excited. Wesley said I was jumping up and down like a little kid. I must have been extra tired or something, but I wanted to go find out. So we got into the car with Scott and drove down to the Comfort Inn to find out. This is what we saw when we drove up!

This is Optimus Prime, well the truck they use for him in anyways. They were the actual movie set vehicles. The had signs up saying "Take all the Pictures you want, but PLEASE KEEP OFF!" Even with ALL the people there we managed to get some decent pictures with just us in them.

Here is Scott with Optimus Prime. Luckily he got the pictures he wanted to see before he got a call (EMT) and had to transport someone to Provo, I bet he wishes his ambulance looked like Ratchet's!

On the truck in front of Optimus Prime they also had Ratchet, the H2 Ambulance version. It got a new paint job compared to the previous movies.

Abby still as excited as a little kid to see the Transformers. Wesley was really excited too, he was just trying to hide his excitement.

You can kinda see a small group of people gathered and the hotel. There was 15-20 people just outside the picture frame.

Just wanted to point out the Paramount Pictures Logo on the transport truck. There were a few more trucks in the lot across the street. They had boxed trailers so Wesley suspects they had a few of the other Autobots or Decepticons inside.

Tiffany came to see a little later. We didn't have any pictures of her to put on but she was there with us. Overall it was a very fun end to our Anniversary night. We were glad we decided to stay an extra night in Payson. Wesley is a little obsessed with Transformers but most guys we know are and its a lot of fun.
