BBQ in Leamington

We went to Leamington for a BBQ at Nicole's (Wesley's sister) house. At her house she has horses and cows. We all got to ride the horses for a while. It was a lot of fun and we were glad that we could invite my parents and Laura as well. Laura had a lot of fun petting the cows and chasing them too. My dad brought his whips and so the kids were trying them out.

We had a great time and were so glad that we all got there safe and got home safe. This wasn't the first time we have rode the horses. I think it was the first time for Laura. But we had a lot of fun. Thank you Nicole and Cody for letting us come down to your house.

Rag Bags...

I have been working on these bags for the past month. They are really easy and fun. Wesley likes to call them diaper bags but I need a diaper bag I would use it for a diaper bag.

This one is the first one I made and I am using this one now.

I made this one for my niece Jordan for her birthday. I hope she will like it.

Fathers Day Weekend...

This weekend was really crazy. Saturday we meet up with friends for lunch and walk the a mall. We had a lot of fun just hanging out with friends before we got to go and pick up Poma and Papa from the airport. They got in about 9:30 pm but we didn't leave the airport for about an hour because they lost their bag. They did get their bag back and got to them by Sunday afternoon. Sunday we got to go to church with David and Rachelle. Then after church we just hang out with everyone. I did miss seeing my Dad and family but we were able hang out with my Dad on Monday night. That was our crazy weekend but it was a good one too. We want to tell our Dads that we love them and so grateful for them to be in our lives.

Our First Anniversary

We went to the Bountiful Temple on Thursday night. That is all I asked for, to go to the temple before our Anniversary. We got married on a Thursday last year so it was really cool to be able to go to the temple on Thursday.

On Friday night we went to Olive Garden for dinner. We had two different choices of where we wanted to go. We wanted Texas Road house or Olive Garden and we decided on Olive Garden because it was closer to the Desert Star Play house.

Desert Star Play House...

The Desert Star Playhouse does comedy plays or movie spoof's throughout the year. The play we right now is James Blonde: Casino Real. The cast does a really good job keeping you entertained the entire time. They make fun of all the really quarky Utah things. We found out the meaning of Rio Tinto (the Real Salt Lake Stadium) actually means dirty river. I guess it also means red river or something like that.

1 Year Anniversary

We Made It through our FIRST Year....

It is our 1 Year Anniversary today. I just want to show some of what happened last year for those of our friends and family. I added an engagement photo, a Bridal photo, a photo from the BBQ the night before our wedding day, and photos and our Honeymoon. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we do. I will post photos later of what we do tonight. I am excited to go and spend some time with Wesley. We have been looking forward to tonight for awhile.

This was our cake and I just had to post this one because we were told to keep the top of the cake for our first Anniversary but ours didn't last that long. We ate a piece at our six month Anniversary because we ran out of room in our freezer for it. It was okay the second time eating it.

Busy Weekend with Family and Friends...

This weekend my oldest sister Jenny came to town with her two youngest kids (Mae and Owen). Friday morning Megan and picked them up from the airport. After Owen took his morning nap we went shopping and grabbed some lunch. While waiting for our food Owen was getting mad so I took some photos of him and Mae to make him happy. Jenny came into town because our cousin was getting married. I will post some photos from the wedding on my Photo Blog Later (so look for those soon).

Saturday Jenny asked me to take photos of Owen and Mae for her. We went to Murray Park and we got there in good time before the rain started. A few photos should be on my photo blog soon. After photos we met up with my parents at Old Navy and went to lunch at Training Table. Then about 4:30 pm we went out to dinner for Laura's Birthday. We went this weekend because Laura and my mom were in Disneyland on her birthday. We went to Ihop for dinner. Then after dinner Wesley and I decided to head up to Clearfield to hang out with some friends (Phil, Laura B. and their kids). We went bowling and went and got ice cream afterwards. After ice cream we went back to their house just to hang out for a little bit. While there, their little girl Cami usually loves Wesley but tonight she didn't want him near her until she was ready to go to bed. I didn't get the photo of Cami falling a sleep in Wesley's arms. All she did was climb into his arms and he just rocked her a little and she fell asleep. (Laura B. took a photo of it and it should be on her blog soon. We had a crazy weekend, ending it by spending time at my parents house for a BBQ with the family. We ate and played games. We had a busy weekend but it was a lot of fun to spend a lot of time with family and friends.

Dresses for Mae

I have had some time on my hands while looking for a job. My mom remembered that my oldest sister Jenny asked her to make some dresses for my nieces. My mom thought that I should sew some too. So here are the first two dresses that I have done.

This first picture is with the flash on and I thought it looked funny when I took it, but in this picture you can tell the true colors of the dresses.

These pictures are showing the cool stitching that I did on the pocket to add something to it and to help the dresses not look to plain. Then the next one is the showing the cool buttons that I found. I thought Mae would love them.
